ZING Programme
Programme designed to break the cycle of poverty by promoting education and thus transforming the lives of young people who have not been able to access the world of training and employment on equal terms.
The technical team of the programme accompanies the educators of social entities in order to make the path of the young people in risk and complex situations more achievable thanks to an intervention model based on mentoring and vocational orientation, the opportunity to study a vocational training with the ZING Scholarship and the accompaniment towards the quality labour insertion, with a support network that allows the young people to connect with each other and to be an engine of social change.
The Zing programme wants to write a Sherpa story: inspired by Tenzing Norgay, the Sherpa who accompanied the mountaineer Edmund Hillary to the summit of Everest for the first time in history. History books mention Hillary, but not his Sherpa. Once the zingers reach their personal, educational and work summit, they must take the rope with which they have climbed the mountain and throw it in the form of a social return to those who are climbing or have yet to climb.
